Abstract

The research tackles the issue of correlation at Al-Isnawi in his book Nehayat Al-Sool in the contentious topics of evidence, contradiction, and diligence (Making an effort to derive a legal ruling). Where the first section focuses on explaining the essence of correlation with fundamentalists، its pillars and formula and then naming its different sections. The second section introduces the scholar Jamal Aldeen Al-Isnawi and his book Nehayat Al-sool in explaining Menhaj Al-Wosool, clarifying his inferences regarding correlations in the contentious topics of evidence, contradiction and diligence as models for his inferences‏, and the statement of Al-snowi’s inferences in conjunction with the topics of the different evidence, and equivalence, and ijtihad as examples of his inferences. The researcher has adopted the descriptive, analytical and inductive approach in defining correlation, covering its pillars and sections, introducing Al-snawi and his book and then induce his inferences regarding correlation in order to be analysed for the sake of determining the pillars and different forms of correlation. The research concluded a number of results, the most important of these are: Al-Asnawi’s inferences of correlation varied in his book Nehayat Al-sool reflecting the interest of fundamentalists, especially the philosophers among them; whereas it is considered a mental proof and proven argument against adversaries, Al-snawi's inferences of correlation were a guide to evidences; or a clarification of the induction from Qur’an, Sunnah, or consensus, or an induction of correlation as an independent mental proof. These inferences are based on proving the correlation between the independent and dependant; So that if the independent is invalid or impossible, the dependant is invalid as well, and the objections regarding correlation aim at clarifying the slander in this correlation and its break-up.
