Abstract
The anthem" is the lyrics that children sing, participating in and enjoying the words, melodies, music, and movements that express their interaction with the sung words and poetic music. The study of the anthem is important because it influences the formation of many of their emotional, intellectual, and aesthetic values. The importance of this study is highlighted by the nature of the discourse directed at children. Two main features emerge: the specificity of the addressee (the child) and the specificity of the discourse. This is revealed by the research in the collection "Songs and Hymns for Innocence" by the poet Ibrahim Abu Talib. The study followed a descriptive approach to the nature of the anthem, the collection's most important themes, and its artistic issues. One of the main findings of this study is that the anthem has a special nature that considers the addressee's state and linguistic, intellectual, and emotional development. This characteristic is evident in the collection "Songs and Hymns" in its language, imagery, music, and content.
