Abstract

This research aims to identify the level of application of artificial intelligence among social workers in social institutions, and to identify the presence of statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the averages of the response of a sample of social workers regarding the level of application of artificial intelligence due to the variable (gender, years of experience, and educational level), as well as identifying the impact of applying artificial intelligence on achieving professional efficiency in social institutions. To achieve these goals; Both the descriptive analytical approach and the comparative descriptive approach were used by applying a questionnaire consisting of two axes, the first axis representing artificial intelligence and the second axis representing professional competence on a sample consisting of (84) social workers working in social institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The results indicated that the level of application of artificial intelligence among social workers in social institutions is high. The research also found that there are no statistically significant differences between the average responses of a sample of social workers regarding the level of application of artificial intelligence due to the variable (gender, years of experience, educational level); The research also proved that there is a significant impact of artificial intelligence on the professional competence of social workers. In light of these results, the research recommended the importance of social institutions moving towards providing training programs on artificial intelligence, which in turn works to enhance the professional competence of social workers. The research also recommends the importance of working to keep pace with development and modern trends in the field of artificial intelligence in social institutions and training the social workers in charge of it in order to raise their professional competence.
