Abstract
This study aims to understand one of the most important pillars of Omani foreign policy, represented by Omani national identity, and its roles in the civilizational construction of Oman’s glorious history. The study also traces the efforts of Omani peaceful diplomacy in achieving regional and international peace and security. To achieve this, the study relied on the descriptive-historical method and the analytical method, with an introduction about the pillars of peace in Omani foreign policy and two main sections: the first revolving around Omani national identity as an authentic pillar of Omani foreign policy, and the second section addressing the role of national identity in the success of Omani foreign diplomacy.

تهدف هذه الدراسة للتعرف على إحدى أهم مرتكزات السياسة الخارجية العمانية متمثلة في الهوية الوطنية العمانية وأدوارها في البناء الحضاري لتاريخ عمان المجيد، كما تتبع الدراسة جهود الدبلوماسية السلمية العمانية في تحقيق السلم والأمن الإقليمي والدولي. ولتحقيق ذلك اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التاريخي والمنهج التحليلي، وذلك في تمهيد حول مرتكزات السلام في السياسة الخارجية العمانية، ومبحثين: الأول، يتمحور حول الهوية الوطنية العمانية كمرتكز أصيل للسياسة الخارجية العمانية، والمبحث الثاني يتطرق لدور الهوية الوطنية في نجاح الدبلوماسية الخارجية لسلطنة عمان في نهضتها الحديثة والمتجددة.
