Abstract
This paper aims to explore the importance of enhancing national identity through records exhibitions and the content of the permanent exhibition of the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA). It highlights the concept of national identity and citizenship. Alos, it identifies their elements and bases, importance, and the major challenges they face in contemporary societies. In addition, it aims to address topics related to responsible citizenship and active community participation, explains the citizenship system, and national culture. The paper clarifies the role of (NRAA) through its cultural activities, local and international records exhibitions, and its permanent exhibition in promoting national identity. The researcher applied the descriptive-analytical research method by utilizing various sources. The study consists of two main themes: 1. The system of citizenship, identity, heritage, and national culture. 2. Citizenship and community participation. The study was conducted on various records exhibitions visitors from January to December 2023. A questionnaire analysis found that 84.8% of the audience acquired knowledge about the history of Sultanate of Oman and national identity after visiting the records exhibitions, which was achieved through 17 records exhibitions implemented in 2023. In conclusion, the researcher presented the field study results regarding the cultural awareness level through various records exhibitions. The most important findings were presented along with key suggestions and recommendations.

الهُُوية الوطنية: بين المواطنة المسؤولة وتحدياتها المستقبلية: المعارض الوثائقية وما يصاحبها من فعاليات بهيئة الوثائق والمحفوظات الوطنية أنموذجا

هدفت هذه الورقة العلمية إلى التعرف على مدى أهمية تعزيز الهُُوية الوطنية من خلال المعارض الوثائقية والفعاليات ومن خلال محتوى المعرض الدائم للوثائق والمحفوظات الوطنية، وشرح وتفسير مفهوم الهُُوية الوطنية والمواطنة ومعرفة عناصرهما ومححداتهما وأهميتهما وأهم التحديات التي تواجهها المجتمعات في العالم المعاصر من غزو ثقافي، كما تهدف الباحثة لطرح مواضيع في المواطنة المسؤولة والمشاركة المجتمعية الفاعلة. وتوضيح دور هيئة الوثائق والمحفوظات الوطنية من خلال أنشطتها وفعالياتها الثقافية والمعارض الوثائقية المحلية والدولية ومن خلال معرضها الدائم في ترسيخ الهُُوية الوطنية، واعتمدت الباحثة على منهج البحث الوصفي التحليلي بالاستعانة بالمصادر المختلفة، وتتكون هذه الدراسة من محورين وهما، المحور الأول: منظومة المواطنة والهُُوية والتراث والثقافة الوطنية والمحور الثاني: المواطنة والمشاركة المجتمعية (المعارض الوثائقية وما يصاحبها من فعاليات بهيئة الوثائق والمحفوظات الوطنية أنموجا). وطبقت الدراسة على زوار المعارض الوثائقية المتنقلة من 1 يناير 2023 ولغاية 1 ديسمبر 2023 م، وتبين من خلال تحليل الاستبانة أنه بنسبة % 84.8 قد تحقق الوعي لدى الجمهور بعد زيارتهم للمعارض الوثائقية وارتفع الوعي لديهم عن تاريخ وحضارة سلطنة عُُمان، والهُُوية الوطنية.وذلك من خلال ( 17 ) معرضا وثائقيا نفذ في عام 2023 م. وفي نهاية الدراسة وضحت الباحثة نتائج الدراسة الميدانية حول مؤشر مستوى الوعي الثقافي المتحقق لتعزيز الهوية الوطنية من خلال المعارض الوثائقية المختلفة، وعرض أهم النتائج التي توصلت اليها الدراسة ووضع أهم المقترحات والتوصيات.
